Kyle A. Pawlowski
Kyle Pawlowski is a painter and mixed media artist from Hamburg, NY who is currently based in Buffalo, NY. He received his BA in studio art from SUNY Potsdam. In his work, Kyle combines abstract and figurative elements at once, in order to create an unbalanced, yet cohesive form of painterly language. Kyle aims to create a foreign atmosphere and raw sense of emotion in his paintings. He achieves this through experimental mark-making and techniques. The paintings are made in the moment and often guide themselves, through call and response. Not staying in one lane is his mantra, as each painting tells its own unique story as to how it was made and what it is saying, conceptually.
